Good location and lovely staff
Prominent entrance on the road although Google sat nav took us straight past and into Westfield! Staff up at the club house bar/reception were lovely. 1066 anniversary weekend so everything in the area was sold out very early - this was close with ample parking
Roof light needs a clean in the room. Extractor fan didn’t seem to work in the bathroom. Family room with a choice of beds but they were wildly different in firmness

Lovely stay- good location, lovely staff and very good food.
The communication was great from the start as with 16 of us we needed to make sure all was ok. The hotel was very accommodating in arranging an evening meal on our arrival even though they would not normally be open that late. Great food too! Help with locating a taxi firm was appreciated. Good location and parking, lovely breakfast, comfortable rooms, quiet location, lovely, friendly staff.
No real issues but the hotel is undergoing some changes and so there was heavy machinery outside the hotel block undertaking some roof cleaning. Showers are attached to the taps in the bath so showering is not easy. Maybe more attention to some cleaning under beds and wardrobes, but I am sure that this will all be addressed with the upcoming refurbishments and didn't effect our stay at all.

Good room, poor communication
Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Ground floor room.
Was told key would be outside room door as reception was closing at 7pm. It wasn't there and caused some stress as golf centre was due to close within 10 minutes of our arrival. Key was brought down and left as door with no acknowledgement of us or an apology.
