Magical experience at Semaya on Penida!
Everything! The staff was so incredible that we made genuine friendships with them. One of them, Werdi, even took us to his temple and community on his day off to show us around. The rooms were so comfortable, we had a villa with private pool and it was gorgeous but we also had a great time hanging out in the bar pool getting to know everyone. We were so sad to leave Semaya and cannot recommend it highly enough
It is on the eastern side of the island and quite far from any restaurants and things which we wanted. We were comfortable on scooters after being in Bali for several weeks but if you aren’t, I can see how you might feel limited. They do have drivers available to help you sightsee and such though. Also, the restaurant does take a really long time, like an hour or more every time, but they try to make it a dining experience

Perfection :)
Immaculate property set in a quiet area. The massage was the best we had whilst in Bali and the food was delicious. It was faultless stay in a perfect location to relax. The staff were all lovely (as with everywhere in Bali) and the rooms were absolutely stunning with ice cold A/C.
