Absolutely wonderful experience in a lovely area of the country. Highly recommend.
We had a fabulous stay at Casa. Serra. The hosts are incredibly nice, available if needed but otherwise not intrusive. The location was lovely, very private and surrounded by greenery, on the edge of a lake that provided a nice walk. Parking was at the top of a small, short drive which was not a problem for us but might be a consideration for anyone with mobility issues. The house itself was a beatiful blend of the original old home which has been modernised inside. The kitchen is large and well equipped (with nice things!), large dining room and lovely terrace with trellis, overlooking the pool. The bedrooms upstairs are large, and the bathroom is a decent size. The downstairs bedroom is smaller and darker (window in the back) but comfortable. The downstairs bathroom is good but small. Excellent attention to detail in terms of the shower gel, soaps, shampoo, quality of linens and towels.
