    There are plenty of places to stay in Florence, book a different one.

    The location was fantastic. The apartment was well-decorated and comfortable.

    The apartment was advertised as having a "historic landmark" view and when we arrived all we saw was a construction site. We were not facing the Arno River as believed we would be. Upon self-check-in (contactless) we tried to contact support via WhatsApp as informed. No one answered. There were long wait times for someone to return a message back simply stating that a room with a view wasn't available. This was also the case when we asked other questions. Reception is only open for a few hours of the day. When I asked to put our bikes in the garden for safety I was informed the locks were changed and the garden door didn't open from the street. Downstairs we met other travellers who mentioned they had been staying at this property for years prior to it being purchased by a large company. They noted a lack of responsiveness and service as part of the change which was certainly how we felt. This was by far the worst customer service we received during our say in Italy and the room was quite expensive for the lack of view we thought we had paid for. My umbrella was stollen from the doorway and there was no one to report it to as there was no reception.

    Fantastic from start to finish

    Quiet location that’s still walkable to everything, very clean, spacious, comfortable. Beautiful interior and was very easy to check into.
