    Calm, peaceful and wonderful!

    We only stayed for one night prior to the Maizuru half marathon but what a gem. So unique. The view over the river to the old fisherman's area was beautiful, take a walk around down there for an interesting hour or so, and the area incredibly peaceful. The host had great English and was very helpful with our arrangements to get to the Red Brick museum for the run the next morning and rang the taxi for us as our Japanese is a bit limited. Inside the room was spacious, modern and clean, with a cool kitchen area and nice bathroom. Loved all of it, wished we could have stayed longer. If catching the train get off at Nishi Maizuru and walk 20 mins to the room. Maizuru is quite small but we had friendly interactions in a small bar we found and a the chef at 'Garden' restaurant was able to make the tastiest vegan pizza and pasta for us when we asked, highly recommend eating here.

    写真通りで、カーテンがなびく綺麗で可愛い部屋でした。テーブルや椅子、クッション等も手作り感があり暖かく、古民家の名残も感じることができました☀️ お風呂が思ってたより大きくてゆったり入れました🛁*。クレンジングや乳液などアメニティも揃っていて、助かりました。 別料金で頼める朝ごはんのちまきも美味しかったです。 また舞鶴来る時は泊まらせていただきたいと思います。
