traveling, a way post between the US (Maine) and PEI but so much more--elegant, historic, friendly!
We thought we would be closer to the city, but loved the suburban feel and the way the Inn merged into the neighborhood.
We loved everything. Maybe it would have been nice to have a place to get a drink and sit in the Inn in the evening. I wanted more history (and missed the information in the room).

Love the building location and historical atmosphere. Staff were lovely, and the food was amazing.
The room was too small, and so was the bathroom. The heat pump unit leaked water down the wall, causing the carpet to become very wet on one side of the room. This issue was brought up to the staff when we first arrived, but nothing was done to fix it or offer us another room. However, we do look forward to staying at Shadow Lawn in the future as we enjoy the historic feel and service provided. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful location.
