Peaceful rainforest getaway
Beautiful villa with pool in rainforest setting. Very responsive hosts. Delicious breakfasts daily and other good ordered also excellent. Excellent guided tour from recommended driver Wayan.
Villa a little hard to find initially, doesn't appear on grab map. Driveway down to villa a bit overgrown, would benefit from a bit more maintenance so walking in at night is a little easier. No big deal though for a beautiful secluded villa like this

A beautifully boutique and very private Ubud experience
A good distance from the ever growing crowds of Ubud's centre, Shamballa Moon is an oasis of comfort and style. Beutifully appointed, furnished, and with a classic Ubud view, you'd be hard to impress if you didn't love it! On top of that, the ladies who hosted us were awesome, and nothing was too much trouble..., and yes, breakfast and /or dining in your villa is a must do.
It was a minor hassle getting back from town, but that had more to do with finding a ride, as we didn't have a car or bike. Getting in wasn't an issue, as the hosts organised a driver for us who became our regular go to and always made himself available.

Definitely would stay again
A beautiful villa, a perfect romantic hideaway in a gorgeous setting with lovely helpful staff.
The only drawback was that its a bit far out from the centre, so ideally you'd hire some scooters so you can get into town etc.

Nice location and friendly staff
It had a nice homey feel and staff were very accommodating
