Location and price is great! It’s a an old school pub hotel but either lots of parking and very convenient to town

Could do with a little love but then the building just wouldn’t be same either!

    Great location for Piece Hall

The pub was a great location for gigs at Piece Hall. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The room was small and decor tired. It could do with an update to the decor and bathroom. The room itself was very clean.

    Ok but a bit spenny!

Friendly welcome, 15 mins from the Piece Hall and 10 mins from the amazing Three Pigeons pub.

I felt the room was overpriced as it was pretty basic, no milk with tea and coffee, all just a bit tired for £80 thought £60 was a fair price. I use hotels quite a lot for gigs and this was overpriced compared to many others.

A lovely stay steeped in history.

Full of character. Old, atmospheric & we heard the ghost rapping. Delightful. Food was good too!

The bar shuts at 10, but I get it, as an out of town bar, it probably doesn't get much trade later on.

The food was amazing, the staff were amazing, the venue is discreetly tucked out of the way and feels really private.
