  Here’s a balanced review that gives the place credit while making the pool issue very clear: We really enjoyed many aspects of our stay at Shelter 2. The location is beautiful, the overall atmosphere is lovely, and we really appreciated the way the property has been designed and put together. It is a special place, and there is a lot to like about it. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by the situation with the swimming pool. We booked a long family weekend with our two children, and the pool was an important part of our decision to stay here. The Booking.com listing included photos of a swimming pool and also listed a swimming pool among the facilities, so we naturally expected it to be available to us. Upon arrival, we discovered that this was not the case. We felt that the listing did not accurately reflect the actual pool availability, and the disappointment was significant enough that we submitted a formal complaint. I believe this needs to be made much clearer in the listing so that other families can make their booking decision with the correct expectations. That said, I also want to recognize that the staff were very responsive and communicative when we raised the issue, which we genuinely appreciated. Overall, we liked Shelter 2, its location and the experience it offers, and I would not want the pool issue to overshadow all the positive aspects of the property. However, when an amenity such as a swimming pool is prominently shown and listed, guests should be able to rely on that information when making their booking.

  Top!!!!

  Het was in 1 woord subliem!! Prachtige ligging, vlak bij het park, alles maar dan ook alles is aanwezig in het huis, zelfs koffie, wasmiddel voor de kledij, zout en peper, olijfolie…bbq was ook zalig om te gebruiken. We verbleven er slechts 2 nachten, elke avond vanuit de jacuzzi de sterrenhemel kunnen bewonderen, de 2 de avond kwamen er rustig 2 coyotes langs wandelen wat de kinderen super vonden. Fantastische ervaring!
