It was okay, that wasn't anything awful about the visit, but there also wasn't anything spectacular about the visit. And for the price per night, we absolutely expected and paid for spectacular.
We were not informed prior to our stay that we needed to make reservations for the spa. Prior to arriving. Much to my surprise when I spoke with The owner about making spa reservations. She informed me that reservations needed to be made well in advance. This was certainly a disappointment. The second disappointment was that we we're not afforded a quiet luxury spa experience at the pool at the very least. We expected this. However, we were informed on the day of arrival that there it was a swim team that rents out the entire pool with the exception of one lane which, by the way, is not actually a lane. And that they train there for swimming, which meant that while we were at the pool, trying to relax, there were about twenty people racing and swimming in the pool who were not hotel guests. The last disappointment was the room and the lack of basic amenities that would be easily found in a standard chain hotel. For the price and the spa experience, we at minimum expected robes and slippers and accoutrements in the room. Unfortunately, there was no attention to those details. It was very basic.

Perfect retreat getaway
Everything but especially the staff, the pool, the complimentary breakfast, the spa, the hot yoga and the relaxed vice.
