    Highly Recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the Shepherd's Retreat. Communication was good prior to our arrival, with instructions. The house is really lovely, with everything you need and the hosts were responsive to queries. The lemon drizzle cake on arrival deserves a mention! It was very welcome with a cup of tea after a long journey. Plus other goodies left in the welcome pack. The local area and view from the house is beautiful and it's located very near to Hadrian's Wall, and is a very popular area for walkers.

    We had to leave!!

Very clean and comfortable. Great location for Roman history and access to Kielder.

Most comfortable bed of any holiday accommodation we have ever used. Clean and comfortable; it was as if we were the first guests ever. The property was very well equipped. The owners are very organised with the booking process and property information.

Some traffic noise outside in front of the property.
