    If you want to experience a real onsen bath with Gunma‘s culinary variety, then this is your place to be.

    I liked that I deep dived into the traditional culture of Japan and the traditional culinary of Gunma. The onsen baths were amazing. Even though I cannot speak Japanese the staff tried its best to explain me everything. Be aware that this Ryokan is traditional and not modern. But everything is cozy and clean. And the food was amazing, even though I wonder what I ate sometimes. But if you are open to try, then you won‘t regret it.

    なにしろ、温泉が最高です！

    川に隣接しているので、浴場からもお部屋からも川のせせらぎを間近に感じ、とても癒されます。

    せっかく素晴らしい眺望なので、もう少し窓ガラスが磨いてあったら、なお美しい眺めが楽しめると思いました。

    Beautiful setting by river with hot spring facility within hotel as well as original open air hot pool in rocks a short walk away. Personal service for breakfast and dinner with extraordinary array of dishes for both meals.

    All good, if a little old-fashioned. Observation elevator a bit disappointing with no observation deck at the top.
