    We have a relaxing time, and used the lodge as a base to explore Exmoor and nearby towns.

    The location was excellent: tranquil and relaxed. The communal space is huge, the bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is fine. No limit on parking space. The nearest substantial shop is in Dulverton, a short but not trivial drive away. We explored Exmoor and nearby towns. The water-powered funicular cliff railway at Lynmouth was a highlight.

    The wifi did not work well, and needs an upgrade in case people need to use it during their stay. It would have been helpful to have a little more cutlery.
