The hosts were incredibly lovely and always helped me when needed. The porch is so beautiful to sit, relax, study and watch birds and squirrels roam around. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious. It was the perfect stay for my medical internship at the hospital.
It was very humid in the room. But I think thats the climate and not much to do about it.

Super Lage zum National Hospital Ruhige Umgebung Schöner Garten mit Affen, Streifenhörnchen, Waranen, etc. Option, Essen dazuzubuchen Rund um die Uhr jemand vor Ort bei Fragen Hilfe beim Buchen und Bezahlen von Tuktuks Gute Englischkenntnisse In meinem Raum gutes WLAN
Zugang zur Küche und zum Kühlschrank wurde nicht angeboten

Nettes Homestay wenn man mit Einheimischen in Kontakt kommen möchte.
- Versorgung von Essen gegen Aufpreis - Mückennetz vorhanden -Gastgeber freundlich -gute Lage zur Praktikumsstelle (Krankenhaus) -ruhige Lage -Klimaanlage gegen täglichen Aufpreis -immer erreichbar
-keine Küche/ kein Kühlschrank für Gäste angeboten -eigene Wäsche waschen zum teuren Aufpreis -Trinkwasser wird selbst hergestellt und verkauft - Shuttle wurde im vergleich zu Uber fast doppelt so teuer angeboten

Absolute Empfehlung!
Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen! Shirley & seine Frau sind so liebe, fürsorgliche & hilfsbereite Menschen. Shirley bereitet auf Wunsch jeden Tag ein Frühstück zu, bei meiner Ankunft gab es auch Abendessen. Am ersten Tag hat er mich sogar zum Spital gebracht (elective student) & war stehts sehr bemüht meinen Aufenthalt schön zu gestalten. Er hat mir ebenfalls geholfen Busse zu organisieren & war bereit bei allen Anliegen zu helfen. Die Lage zum Krankenhaus ist perfekt. Jedes Mal wenn ich in die Unterkunft gekommen bin, hat es sich so angefühlt als würde ich nach Hause kommen. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert super, alles ist sehr sauber und es ist wunderschön im Garten zu sitzen. Wenn man in Galle ist kann ich Shirley’s Homestay absolut empfehlen es gibt nichts auszusetzen!
