  Very peacefull

  I had a few wasps coming in some how so there a near by nest but the were ok the floor basically dieing. Part of nature I suppose

  Loved that lodge was already opened on arrival. The hot tub being ready and a perfect temperature. The booklet was informative and useful. Loved the bathroom particularly the rainbow light around the mirror and the deep bath tub. The quality of the bedding was brilliant and just enough. The heating was very efficient.

  The mattress does roll into the middle so was a little uncomfortable over the 2 night stay. A shelf in the bathroom would be great for toiletries and also one in the shower.

  Disappointing and unimpressed, such a shame given the beautiful location.

  The location was lovely, picturesque and peaceful.

  The lodge we had booked was unexpectedly unavailable as there had been a leak earlier in the year and we had not been notified that there was no longer two bathrooms. We had booked a two bedroom two bathroom ground floor apartment with enclosed fence area and a hot tub for 4 adults and 2 dogs. It had been specifically chosen, due to the configuration, to provide support with my elderly parents and to keep our two dogs safely enclosed. As there was now only one bathroom , this was no longer an option and unfortunately, this meant it was no longer suitable for our needs. The disappointing part was this had happened sometime ago and we have not been notified of a change to the lodge so we were unable to make alternative accommodation arrangements .The staff were apologetic and helpful trying to sort us out a different lodge., and despite them moving us to a lodge with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was set over two floor floors and the exterior was not enclosed so the Dogs could not be kept safe unless inside the lodge. Therefore, the lodge we ended up staying in did not meet the requirements we needed. Furthermore, it looked like it needed a good clean., on the surface things appeared reasonably tidy, but there were cobwebs, dust and grit on the floor and the area where the hot tub was located, was very unloved and unappealing, so much so, we did not feel happy to use it and obviously we could not keep our Dogs secure . It was also minimally equipped . We had booked a two night stay but were terribly disappointed and due to the restrictions the accommodation placed on us, we ended up packing up after one night and going home.

  Fantastic lodge

  Great location,clean and fantastic facilities. Very helpful staff and professional.

  There was a wasp nest however it was very quickly dealt with and therefore did not present a problem in the end.

  Peaceful beautiful ground just a lovely experience

  We've been coming for the last few years, it's the most peaceful beautiful place, the lodges are clean tidy spacious very well equipped and beautiful decorated
