The owner was really really nice and helpful, even let us leave our luggage a couple of hours extra so we didn't have to carry it around the city. The location was great, really close to the center, tourist attractions of Catania, shops, bars and restaurants were all withing walking distance, as well as bus stops connecting to other cities. The room itself is quite tasteful, equipped with a small Smart TV and a small fridge. I especially liked how big the towels were. The bathroom is quite large, which is another plus.
The room looks much better in pictures, it was really dark, basically no daylight coming in as right outside the window/balcony there was another building. Therefore, view from the balcony wasn't really pleasant - except for the neighboring building all you could see was a pile of trash. The Room Deluxe does not have access to the kitchen and is not equipped with any cutlery, dishes, electric kettle, etc., so if choosing this one you probably will have to eat most of the meals out in the city. Some extra cleaning could be useful especially in the shower, as well as washing the bed covers. The neighbors have a bird which is quite loud, you can hear it everyday - not the owner's fault but might be a bother for someone, so just a heads up.

La camera non era conforme alle foto. Puzzava di umido. La porta della camera non avendo una serratura sicura (tra l'altro non chiudeva neanche) non permetteva di stare tranquilli. Il balcone affacciava in un cortile sporco, cadeva a pezzi, tutto vecchio.
