  Enjoyed our stay, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

  The view of the rice paddy was nice. The layout of the villa was really functional. The architecture and the furniture looks really nice and gives a premium feel. The staff were really friendly.

  The bathroom in bedroom 2 was constantly wet because the shower and sink area don't drain correctly. The water trapped in the shower had visible clumps of algae floating in it. We had to wash our feet separately after getting out of the shower. We were really looking forward to leaving that bathroom behind. The pool slowly turned green during our 5 nights. We only swam twice because of this. The sink in the kitchen also caused water to spill all over the bench and run in to the floor, causing more mold / algae and a constantly wet floor in the kitchen. Given we're always barefoot indoors, we all just started avoiding as much of the wet areas as possible. The cleaning before we arrived wasn't great. There was visible peanut sauce on the dining table when we arrived that got on all our bags and papers.

  definitely recommend

  beautiful stay, hosts were very lovely

  the location was far from most attractions, was hard to do a lot in one day as the destination time was half our day

  Really modern-looking. Spacious.

  Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. One of the main issues was that staff were present on the property at all times, yet we were never informed about this in advance. We expected more privacy and found this quite uncomfortable. We were also surprised that breakfast was prepared inside our villa. This was not something we had been told beforehand and felt unusual for this type of accommodation. During our 4-night stay, our towels were not changed even once. In addition, the pool was never cleaned, and by the end of our stay it contained a significant amount of dirt and leaves. Another major concern was the air conditioning in the living room. It produced a very unpleasant odor that reminded us of raw chicken, making it uncomfortable to spend time in that area. Overall, we feel that better communication, housekeeping, and maintenance would greatly improve the guest experience.
