    Excellent 3 night stay in a lovely property .

    We loved that the hotel was such a peaceful and quiet retreat . It had only 10 lodges which made it all the more lovely . Since the rooms were nestled within the forest we could hear the sounds of the wildlife especially early in the morning. The rooms were really spacious, clean ,well lit and really nice bathrooms . Breakfast was very nice too with both continental and Sri Lankan cuisines as options. The staff were attentive , polite and provided excellent service . This property is also situated fairly close to the all the attractions we wanted to visit without needing to drive for hours .

    The walkway leading to our rooms was a little dark at night but thankfully torches were provided in the rooms for our use . Also I don’t like the bugs . But since it is in the forest I guess that’s the trade off to be in such a setting .

    We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sigiriya Forest Edge.

    The hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were individual bungalows built above the ground and in the trees (there's a ramp, so no need to worry about stairs). The room was spacious and beautifully designed with a large TV for entertainment, a sitting area, and a large comfortable bed. We felt it was one of the best rooms we had ever stayed in when visiting Sri Lanka! The restaurant was air-conditioned and had lovely views of the surrounding area. The waitstaff and cook were excellent, and together they presented some of the best meals we have eaten in Sri Lanka. Overall, staying at the Sigiriya Forest Edge was a highlight of our travels around Sri Lanka.

    One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and I’m in the travel industry.

    Breakfast was superb, loved the freh pastry basket and the continental breakfast

    Nothing, we enjoyed everything, in fact we were sad to leave.

    Absolutely perfect stay

    Such a lovely hotel, clean rooms, hospitable staff and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t fault it at all. The staff were all so helpful in organising our safari tour and any other activities we wanted to do!

    Green, clean, luxurious resort at Sigiriya

    Excellent and well maintained rooms, polite and prompt service, delicious food options, great forest like real experience, well behaved and well trained personnel..

    It was a flawless experience, no problems at all
