    My experience with Ceres Apartments was completely unacceptable and extremely stressful. I had made an advance booking and paid the full amount well before my arrival. However, when I reached the property, there was no one to check me in. I called the owner multiple times, but there was absolutely no response. After waiting for a long time, I contacted Booking.com for assistance. They also tried to reach the property but received no response either. Eventually, they informed me that the booking had to be cancelled because the property was unreachable. What made the situation even worse was that neither the property nor Booking.com arranged any alternative accommodation immediately. I was left stranded on Cambridge Road for hours with my luggage, trying to figure out where to stay. Since it was a last-minute booking, I had no choice but to pay a much higher price for another hotel. This level of irresponsibility is unacceptable. Taking full payment in advance and then becoming completely unreachable is highly unprofessional and causes unnecessary stress and financial loss to guests. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property unless they are willing to risk being left without accommodation despite having a confirmed, fully paid booking.

    Ghost property paid in full in advance that does not exist anymore discovered on the check-in day

    The property does not exist anymore; however, my reservation for three weeks for a visiting professorship in Cambridge was confirmed more than 18 days before my stay, for which I paid in full, only to discover - on the day of my arrival - that it was a ghost booking and no apartment was waiting for me at my arrival, even though I had stayed at this property one year before. At the same time, Booking.com was still listing other apartments of this property as available, even though they were clearly not. Only by pure luck I found another last-minute option, otherwise the damage would have been extreme. Never happened to me something like that in over 20 years of using Booking.com. Completely nuts.

    L'absence de démonstration lors de la remise des clés de l' ouverture des fenêtres, porte fenêtres et portes du sas .
