  This is our second time here, the place is beautiful, clean, cozy, warm, the landscapes feel like a fairytale. It's super quiet. There are 3 bikes that you can ride as well, which we absolutely loved. The beds are comforable. The kitchen contains everything necessary for the stay. The owner is very kind, always available. Highly recommended.

  Not a single thing we didn't like.

  Perfekte Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung

  Unglaublich schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Der Blick nach draußen ist ein Traum, die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zu entspannen und zu staunen. Einfach perfekt!

  We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Silence House and found the accommodation truly exceptional. The house is beautifully designed, very new, extremely clean and well equipped. We were genuinely surprised by how much comfort and coziness could be created in such a relatively small space. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The bathroom was also surprisingly spacious, with plenty of hot water, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay. The location itself is incredibly peaceful. The house is situated in a beautiful valley just outside Durmitor National Park, surrounded by mountains. Waking up in the morning and looking out at the mountains was absolutely beautiful. And at night, the lack of light pollution means you can enjoy an amazing starry sky. If you are looking for peace, nature and a place where you can genuinely disconnect from everything, the Silence House is a very special experience. There is also a small local restaurant within walking distance, which we visited and really enjoyed. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Overall, we found the accommodation exceptional and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who appreciates nature, tranquility and a beautifully designed place to stay.

  The main downside for us was the remote location. The house is really far off the main road, and you have to drive for around 15 minutes on mostly unpaved gravel roads to reach it. This means that every trip into the surrounding area involves roughly 30 minutes of driving just to get in and out of the valley. For a short stay, we didn't mind this at all, and the remoteness is obviously part of what makes the place so peaceful. However, if we had stayed for a week or longer and driven in and out every day, we probably would have found it a little tiring. There are also very few facilities nearby. There is no supermarket and essentially no choice of restaurants within easy reach, so you should plan ahead and bring groceries with you. The small local restaurant nearby is lovely, but it has limited seating and isn't really designed for large numbers of guests at once. A small additional note: the Wi-Fi was quite shaky and not something we could fully rely on. We had a Montenegrin eSIM, so this wasn't really an issue for us, although mobile coverage in the area wasn't always perfect either. If you are planning to work remotely, make video calls, have regular video calls with family or rely on streaming, this is something to keep in mind. That said, we wouldn't deduct any points for this. Given the remote location, we were actually pleasantly surprised that Wi-Fi was available at all, and for us it was perfectly fine as part of the overall experience. One other thing worth mentioning is completely outside the host's control: during our stay in early September, there were significant wildfires in and around the Durmitor region. On our way to the accommodation, we even drove through an area where there was an active fire. On our final day, smoke from fires several kilometers away was being blown through the valley, making it difficult to open the windows or comfortably sit outside for a while.

  Nos gusto la ubicación en mitad de la montaña y la persona de contacto, Boban, hizo que todo fuera genial. Nos recomendo un restaurante en Pluzine que fue un verdadero acierto.
