Pleasant ambience, but cleanliness and service issues affected our stay

    - Some of the staff members were very nice and welcoming. The Tibetan lady at the restaurant was especially friendly and sweet with our kids. - The ambience was pleasant. - The kids’ food was good. - The swimming pool was nice.

    - The air conditioning broke down during our stay. - The duplex we had booked was not properly cleaned and was full of dust, so we had to be moved to another room. - There was too much insistence on checking out by 11 AM. A 12 noon checkout, which is common at many hotels and resorts, would have been more convenient. - The massage service was average. However, the prices were reasonable. - Parking was self-service, with no valet parking available. - Most of the rooms did not have lift access, which could be inconvenient, especially for families with young children.

A highly disappointing stay that fell far short of the standards expected from a premium resort

I checked into Suite 301 expecting a premium experience, as this is the highest room category at the resort. Unfortunately, the facilities and overall condition of the suite were far below my expectations. Hygiene and Water Quality Issues: Toilet in the living room had a persistent unpleasant smell and was not in a condition that I would consider acceptable for use. More seriously, when we tried to use the bathtub in the main bathroom, we noticed that the hot water was brown in colour and visibly contaminated. Water appeared as though it was coming from a drainage/sewage connection rather than a clean water supply. I reported this issue to the management on the very first day. However, the same issue was observed again the following morning. This is a serious hygiene and safety concern. Room Service: Room service team served food without providing serving spoons and the necessary cutlery. We had to call and request the required items separately and then wait for them to be delivered. This is not what I would expect from a resort offering a premium suite. Room Ambience and View: The ambience and surroundings of the suite were also very disappointing. One side of the room overlooks what appears to be a gutter/drainage area, while the other side is surrounded by concrete tiles. The overall setting feels enclosed and offers very little of the pleasant ambience one would expect from a resort. Response from Management: Unfortunately, the response from the management regarding these issues has also not been satisfactory. Given the category and reputation of the property, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation, hygiene, service, and guest experience. My expectations from Silent Shores Resort were much higher. Unfortunately, the experience so far has been extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standard I expected from the property

Nice place great service, just needs some improvements on the pool and food aspect

Its a nice place with great service, rooms are excellent.

Swimming pool is not very clean, me and my kid had a bad stomach after eating breakfast. Rest of the family was fine so it was the French toast probably.
