This property may visually resemble a 5-star hotel, the view is incredible. but its management entirely lacks the warmth
View is amazing
A Fine-Looking Property Ruined by Ridiculous Rules While the room views were lovely and the in-room lighting was well-designed, my overall stay at this property was deeply disappointing. For a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star luxury establishment, the actual experience felt more like staying in a strict correctional facility than a premium resort. We felt constantly monitored and distressed by absurd, hidden regulations. Here is why this property falls drastically short of a 5-star standard: 1. Cold Atmosphere & Inadequate Front Desk Service First impressions and daily interactions were severely hindered by an incredibly cold and understaffed reception. Throughout our 5 days stay, the staff were completely expressionless and never smiled, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Furthermore, every time I approached the reception area, there was only a single or two staff members working. This complete lack of customer service depth meant a minimum 10-minute wait every single time we needed assistance in the afternoon, which is entirely unacceptable for an international luxury hotel. The sole bright spot of our entire experience was a wonderful staff member named Nora I think. She was the only happy and smiling face in the entire building, and she was genuinely glad to assist us. It is a shame that the rest of the management and front desk team do not share her commitment to basic hospitality. 2. Subpar Room Comfort & Flawed Design For a luxury hotel, sleep quality should be paramount, yet it was completely compromised here: • Uncomfortable Beds: The mattress and bedding setup lacked the plush comfort expected of a premium brand. • Damaged Linens: To our shock, the bed's cover sheet was completely ripped and frayed—a glaring lack of quality control that could easily be felt while resting. • Flawed Room Tech & Lighting: The television is locked down, preventing guests from casting or logging into Netflix or YouTube.
