Great place to stay

Susana was a lovely host. Sintra Wine Apartment was a wonderful clean light/airy space. Well equipped kitchen with a full size fridge and a washer - no dryer but there was a drying rack. We enjoyed the patio even though it backs on to the train station. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the town sites restaurants and heavenly pastry cafes. Palaces- At train station the bus 434 went every 15 minutes and did the palace loop. Our favorite restaurant was Cajo (Largo Dr. Virgílio Horta 5) Authentic "hole in the wall, large portions, great vegetarian, fish and meat options. Worth the wait if busy. .
We were disappointed by two things. The beds - All three were soft without support, Causing stiff backs. No fans - a couple fans for the bedrooms would have been nice since the windows cannot be open at night.

A great homebase to explore Sintra!
The location was perfect! The apartment itself is perfect in size and has everything you could possibly need to be indepent while exploring the area. Susana made the whole experience so easy and smooth, from booking to checkout. We arrived late in the day and she was ready with restaurant recommendations and made sure to check we were all set for the next couple of days. Obrigada por tudo!

Clean and comfortable and the owner was extremely kind and most helpful.
Traffic noise but not too bad after all the apartment is situated quite central .
