Een toplocatie voor een eerlijke prijs, ideaal om historisch Istanbul te voet te ontdekken.
De locatie is in één woord geweldig. Het treinstation, de Marmaray en de tram liggen allemaal op één straat afstand. Als ik voor bereikbaarheid en ligging meer dan 10 punten kon geven, zou ik dat zeker doen. De Sultanahmet-moskee en de Hagia Sophia-moskee zijn 15 minuten lopen en de Süleymaniye-moskee 25 minuten, maar onderweg zijn er zoveel mooie plekken om te bekijken dat je niet eens merkt hoe snel de tijd voorbijgaat. Speciale dank aan meneer Ayham voor zijn gastvrijheid!
Het hotel ligt in een historische omgeving en het gebouw is wat ouder, wat je hier en daar merkt. Gezien de prijs die ik heb betaald, vind ik het zeker geen slecht hotel. Wie een budgethotel boekt en alles perfect verwacht, doet de eigenaar en het personeel tekort.
