Very interesting area, the buildings are high and pretty. The pool was very big, seems like it is shared in a courtyard by many hotels. Comfy bed. Cheap price. The kitchen next door makes amazing food! Very tasty!

Uhhhm allot of construction is going on, so super noise during the day. The pool opens only at 11am in the morning and closes at 7pm! They can really extend those hours a bit. The bathroom is ridiculously small, the toilet is right behind the door, so if you are on the loo and your wife opens the door, it crushes your toes and knees! Weird bath, no where to place toiletries. And we had a house gecko in the room, that woke us up a few times during the night with a very loud call/noise that it makes. My wife was freaked out by it..lol And we weren't given pool towels.

The reception lady was friendly always smiling and came across like it was her home you entered. She is lovely. When we sent msgs via booking.com the responses were prompt. Breakfast bread was fresh. Our fried eggs were cooked to perfection. Would have been nice if we could opt into having more as one egg isn't enough serving for most westerners. Watermelon served was delicious. We were offered coffee which j didn't want but our friends advised it was overly sweet.

Location: It's in a super isolated location. There is absolutely nothing to do. Walk around and there are just empty streets and empty non finished buildings. It feels so strange. It really impacted my mood. The streets only have locals on mopeds or cleaners go by now and then. The roads were extremely rough on our way there from the airport. After 1am there were no grab drivers available. So we ended up with dodgy taxi drivers which ended up demanding more money after dropping us off. Arrange your drop off in advance if you plan to land late in the evening. We had an absolute nightmare experience. Hygiene: The bed sheets didn't seem like they were changed for a while. They didn't smell fresh at all. The toilet sink wouldn't flush well and always had a quarter full. The air con was blowing Luke warm. When having a shower the water simply splashes everywhere and the water flow almost goes to the bathroom door. I personally had to shower in cold water. Couldn't locate any hot water button to turn on the hot water. No matter what I did water was cold. There were loads of mosquito's in the lobby. I had to wear long clothes while having breakfast which made it very hot and uncomfortable. Also the reception and meal area are not air conditioned. Communication: very hard to communicate as English is basically not an option. You need Google translation app which makes it so annoying going back and forth.
