Nice stay in Homer with views of the Sea Plane lake
The cottages at the Sea Plane base are very nice and appear quite new. There is a deck outside and seating around a fire pit. Beryl air service is located on the property and it made it very easy to go on our sea plane flights with them. The cottage is in very good shape.
The wifi was a bit spotty during our stay. It often worked well but would cut out sometimes.

Great find in Homer, would stay there again.
Picked this up at a great price just a week before arrival. Quite happy that we found it. Booked the smallest cabin which has basic kitchen, other cabins had different floor plans that had bigger/nicer spaces. We did not use the restaurant, though it looked fine for a quick bite. Homer has a plethora of places to eat. Beds were new and very comfortable. Loved the location between town and the Spit. We also like to see the float planes taking off and landing. Some might be disturbed by the 7:15am wake up call as the planes start taking off, but very quiet at night and away from the road. Heard the loons on the lake!
Auto switch on bathroom fan should be removed. Fan is very loud and it came on every time we moved around in the bedroom unless door was closed.

I would stay here again.
Walking distance to the airport and market.
Lack of ventilation, only three operable windows all on the same side of the building. Bedroom was at leSt six degrees warmer than the living room at all times. Could not get it below 73 degrees and it got as high as 79 when outside was low 60's.
