  Lees eerst de reviews voor je boekt!

  Heeft helaas niets met de accomedatie te maken, maar het uitzicht bij het zwembad was erg mooi.

  Helaas een wijze les voor ons om eerst goed de reviews te lezen voor het boeken. Vanaf het moment dat we de voordeur opende en de sigarettenlucht ons tegemoet kwam (dit kwam mogelijk door buren die rookten onder het raam van de badkamer), kregen we al spijt van de boeking. De vloer plakte en de bekleding van de fauteuil in de woonkamer was erg smerig. De oude slaapbank was al voor ons opgemaakt. Deze bank is aan vervanging toe want je sliep op het metalen frame en je rolde steeds naar het midden toe. De metalen frame was bij het voeteneinde overigens ook deels afgebroken, waardoor je je zou kunnen snijden aan de scherpe randen. Er kwam geen warm water uit de douche, echter was dat volgens de host onze eigen fout want wij zouden de boiler hebben uitgezet. Deze boiler hebben we überhaupt niet aangeraakt. Na een zeer slechte nacht zijn we vroeg in de ochtend vertrokken alhoewel we 5 nachten hadden geboekt. Uiteraard hebben we contact gezocht met de host en booking- maar helaas geen refund mogelijk, desondanks dat we dit netjes met de host probeerden op te lossen. De host gaf aan dat hij nog best een schoonmaakbeurt had willen faciliteren, ik vraag me af waarom dit op voorhand nog niet was gebeurd en zo te lezen in de andere ervaringen van gasten waren we helaas niet de enige. Al met al een erg vervelende ervaring van wat een fijne ontspannen vakantie had moeten zijn. Hoe booking zo'n hoge score kan geven aan een accomedatie als deze begrijp ik helemaal niets van.

  Stunning views and an exceptionally beautiful, peaceful pool, but the apartment was uncomfortable and plagued by mainten

  Beautiful views from the apartment and amazing pool

  Everything that could go wrong in the apartment seemed to: we didn’t have enough hot water, we lost power, the WiFi disconnected, and the blinds didn’t work and had to be fixed twice. Above all, though, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The main bed is a sofa bed, and our boys slept in a fold-down bunk bed where there is so little space above the top bunk that the person sleeping there can’t even sit up. That said, the setting is absolutely stunning. The views from the apartment are beautiful, and the pool is one of the loveliest we have ever been to. Even during one of the busiest days in August, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and genuinely tried to help with most of the problems, coming twice to deal with the blinds and explaining how to restore the electricity and reboot the WiFi. Unfortunately, the hot-water issue was never really resolved. So, a very mixed experience: an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful location, but the apartment itself was uncomfortable and had far too many maintenance issues during our stay.
