  Best day out. Staff friendly. Medium track.

  What an amazing 4wd day out. Staff are so friendly. Arrive 8am and started this 80km track into what is some of the most breathtaking scenery in Australia.

  Beautiful! Remote solitude!

  We had a couple of nights in the Stockman’s Cottage, enjoying the peace and solitude of this remote station. It’s located just 3km off the paved highway on a good all weather road, but you really feel like you are out in a remote area. Bring all your own supplies as the nearest restaurant and shop are 30 minutes away at Wilpena Pound. Our 2-bedroom cottage was amazing with large picture windows overlooking a big deck and the surrounding forested hills – really a magical outlook! The interior was bright, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully functional, suitable for preparing just about anything. A large woodstove adorned the center of the room, good for those cool winter nights. There is no cell phone signal and the Wifi signal doesn’t extend all the way to the cottage, however, you can receive a decent Wifi signal out on the deck which was sufficient for our needs. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

  Essential Southern Flinders Ranges touring

  Willow Springs Station is well located to be your base camp when touring the area. We stayed at a bush camp site. It was well serviced with a private toilet, large table with bench seats, a fire pit and BBQ plate to cook on. Campers can utilise the showers, laundry and camp kitchen located near the reception building. It was a 1klm drive from our camp to the amenities. There are plenty of day trip drives to do and the surrounding landscapes are amazing. Lots of the drives could be done in a standard car. Their are plenty of 4WD tracks for those interested. The Skytrek drive at Willow Springs is a stunning full day's entertainment. The last 15klms has some serious low range 4WD driving

  Peace and privacy

  We were offered our own very private camping spot for our caravan with a clean, well maintained porta loo onsite. The gravel area was raked beautifully clean, no dust or mud. We simply rode our push bikes to the shower block when needed. For people who peace and privacy this is a great option!

  Great family getaway to explore nature, learn about sheep farm, trekking by foot & 4wd. Friendly,near Flinders Ranges SA

  Willow Springs Michelle Reynolds greeted us with a huge smile (even tho it was nearing the end of her busy day) & very helpfully suggested things to do & see on & near Willow Springs. All amenities are immaculately clean, with a well equipped kitchen/community tv & wifi area available to everyone, even available for use by self sufficient campers. - [ ] The perfect location for exploring the Flinders & Wilpena areas, & easy gateway to many places of interest. - [ ] Perfect for families, so much nature to explore…& skytrek gives adults & kids an Adrenalin hit that will never be forgotten! - [ ] Our campsite Corella 2 was beautiful, secluded & with our own campfire place & cook plate. Creek was dry but great for fossicking, kids & adults alike! - [ ] Highlight was sunset drink at Stokes Hill lookout 10min from Willow Springs.. sunset over ranges 360 view is speccy. - [ ] All round, Willow Springs is a must to see & stay. - [ ] Congratulations to the Reynolds family for the years of hard work, passion & dedication in bringing the Flinders to life for so many. - [ ] Lina & Pat
