De gastvrijheid. ....perfecte locatie, lieve mensen. Wij hebben dit geboekt omdat we in een musicalproduktie speelde. Eigenaresse en dochter zijn zelfs komen kijken. Erg leuk.

Someone entered our apartment without our knowledge or consent
During our stay, we returned to our private apartment and found an unknown man with keys leaving it. He identified himself as the owner. We had received absolutely no warning that anyone would enter, nobody had requested our permission, and no maintenance visit had been arranged with us. We immediately became concerned because all our personal belongings were inside, including laptops, wallets, documents, clothing and other private items. When we contacted the property, they confirmed in writing that someone had entered to double-check a minor bathroom repair that had already been completed before our arrival. They described this as “standard procedure”. This explanation made us even more uncomfortable. The issue was not an emergency that had just occurred, but apparently a routine inspection. We were never told why they could not contact us first or arrange a suitable time. What concerns us most is that if we had returned just a few minutes later, we would never have known that someone had entered our apartment at all. We booked a private apartment expecting privacy and security throughout our stay. Instead, we discovered that someone with keys had accessed our accommodation without our knowledge. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided not to spend our second night there and had to pay for another hotel. Regardless of how nice an apartment may look, privacy and security are fundamental. Guests should not have to worry about people entering their accommodation unexpectedly while their personal belongings are inside. To make matters worse, when we first arrived, we found someone else’s underwear and a suppository wrapper lying on the bathroom floor. This raised serious concerns about whether the apartment had been properly cleaned before our arrival. Combined with the unauthorized entry the following day, the overall experience was completely unacceptable.
