Adequate, but needs updating.
The hotel property and the rooms are very dated. It's in need of a serious refurbishment. If you're staying in thte area, there are better spots with modern touches.

Disappointed
The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was nice. The beds were comfortable.
The room was dirty, run-down, and in need of some serious repair and cleaning. The shower curtain rod was falling off, the tub drain did not drain, the furniture was scratched and the curtains were full of holes. I'm guessing it has been in need of renovations for several years now. Even though I am a Choice Member, we were unable to get bottled water. I have stayed at the Sleep Inn in Staunton and it is beautiful!

Friendly from desk staff on arrival!
Hotel was nicely located within 20 minutes of Skyline Drive. Rode motorcycle from Philadelphia area, and needed to find location within short drive of Shenandoah National Park.

Not recommended.
The pillows were good.
The room was trashed. All the furniture needed repairs or refinishing. Carpet was yucky, I wouldn’t go barefoot. The bathroom door didn’t close. No soap dish so soap sits on counter. Breakfast was over sweet, not nutritious. We paid several hundred dollars for what should have been an $80 room.
