  Cheap & cheerful

  Location was perfect.

  The beds weren't made before arrival. There weren't enough mugs for a hot drink. There is no freezer. The windows don't open to allow you to cook without the smoke alarms sounding.

  Do not do this to yourself.

  The apartment is not suitable for people above the age of 50 (unless you have a rich elderly relative who has you in their will). Steep stairs, with facilities on the top floor. The internet did not work (until I fixed it myself) while there is no Free-to-air TV (only netflix). The bed had crumbs in it when we arrived. But the worst feature is the property management company Evolve Stays. Do not use this company *ever*. We were refused entry until we had filled in various forms, including 1 one that was never sent to us (they did send forms for 2 other clients instead). Information for property access was a youtube link that was filmed in darkness. They insisted on a 350 pound deposit in advance, and NB if you are paying as an overseas tourist, they will keep some the deposit (returning less than they took off your credit card). So all in all a terrible stay, with terrible support from Evolve staff.

  Not a pleasant stay, it's pretty basic to expect bed linen and towels for each guest.

  Keys are in a dark shed down an unlit alley. Bed linen and towel was missing for 3rd guest; despite many requests the linen and towel never materialized. 2 heaters, one in bedroom and one outside bathroom did not work. Bell did not work. All the duvets, pillows and towels were the cheapest you could possibly buy, same with crockery and silverware - not that we used the kitchen. The apartment is cute; however, it is located on a street corner with a crossing that beeps all through the night. Carpets are in need of a deep clean. Soap dispenser in bathroom did not work. The apartment needs a good clean and a few maintenance issues addressed.

  Otley stay

  Excellent location

  Very noisy you can hear people talking at the zebra crossing and it beeps every five minutes keeping you awake all night. You need a 350 pound damage money sent in extra to get keys and then you get charged half for a carpet stain behind front door that's been there ages.they must charge for this every time. Excellent location but would not stay again.
