    Went primarily for spa so disappointing

    Location good room nice comfortable bed staff nice

    Room cold and couldn’t turn on radiator Pool closed for maintenance no prior warning Spa had children all day and this made spa area not relaxing

    Hotel was lovely, the woman who checked us in was so lovely and polite and upgraded us. Room was lovely and close to the spa which was nice. Bed was comfortable and found the room to be quiet. Spa was lovely, we got in early and for a Saturday is was so quiet and peaceful

    We tried to get a coffee at the spa and we waited at the seats but no one appeared, would have been nice to get a drink at the spa but didn’t annoy us. However, we went to the Wolf bar in the evening and found some of the staff to be rude. Went up and ordered 2 cocktails and girl who served us was pleasant but after 20 mins and no sign I went back to the bar to check and I think it was the manager and another male barman just stood and ignored me and another woman who was waiting. They talked between themselves and just didn’t want to look in my direction and I was directly in front of them. It took a young waitress to come out from another door to ask me was I ok and just asked if she wouldn’t mind checking on our drinks, which she did and they arrived 5 mins later. We were going to stay on and have another few drinks but me and my husband were both quite annoyed with, who we think was the manager, so we just went back to our room..

    Excellent

    5 star service, great place and every member of staff very polite and friendly.

    All good. We stay in plenty of hotels and have to say this was well above the rest in terms of customer focused staff.
