    Great for friends painting outdoors

    Size of plot was great as we were artists and we could paint from the property. The lounge with the fireplace was great in the evenings too.

    One more bathroom would have been helpful and somewhere inside to eat at a table.

    A pleasant place for a weekend stay.

    The property is located some distance up the Hunter Valley so is reasonably quiet. The house is comfortable and the fire was a welcome addition to the living area. While it would have been too dangerous to walk on the road, there is a mown area between paddocks to stretch one's legs and take a dog for a walk.

    While I received quite a few emails and messages before our weekend, I wasn't told about the driveway entry to the property (which isn't well signposted) so all three car loads missed it. Nor was I told where the key would be located. Luckily, I arrived during daylight so had time and sufficient light to look for the key (which I found located in a lockbox).
