    Left a day early because it was so bad.

    Nice and clean

    The heat was not working, the night club downstairs was very loud, our room was right next to the elevated train!!

    Hotel cancelled paid booking w/no notice

    Poor Businees practices - Be very careful when booking - Hotel cancelled reservation night before travel with no prior notice for a booking made 5weeks in advance.

    Perfect self service apartment, away from downtown Chicago

    The Sonder app worked perfectly to get the access code to the main building, and then to using feature in the app to unlock the door worked perfectly. The studio apartment itself was perfect, with a very comfortable bed, working appliances such as coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, smart TV and cooker. A short 5min walk to Ashland CTA station, and a 15min walk to West Loop which is full of cool bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Also a short walk to the United Centre. I requested new towels and they arrived next day too, which I thought was good considering it’s a staff-less facility. The free water machine on each floor is a nice touch too.

    The shower was big and spacious, but the water pressure was a little weak. On weekends, you can hear the music from the club downstairs however I had spotted this on bad reviews before we stayed so had requested a higher floor which Sonder accommodated so the sound wasn’t an issue once we got to the 5th floor. The lift was working, but very slow. There was a also a consistent noise from the AC unit in the hallway, but thankfully the unit was soundproof so I didn’t hear it from the room.
