Beautiful oasis in the city center
We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have spent more time! The welcome reception was wonderful, followed by a tour of the hotel and room. While we didn’t try the public onsen, we loved the one included in our room—It was such a beautiful oasis to come back to after strolling the busy downtown core. Kyoto left a special place in our heart, and the hotel alone was a 5 star experience worth coming back for!
If you want to enjoy the rooftop view during “happy hour,” get there early! The premium seats overlooking the city were already full when we went.

Spectacular and comfortable hotel with amazing staff - top, top experience.
Stunning everywhere …. Loved the hillside views, the rooftop, room was brilliant with our onsen and so much comfortable space. Staff was amazing, too.

Vraiment très belle expérience que d'avoir séjournée dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est toujours très attentionné lorsque nous avons des demandes. Nous avons pu profiter de notre Onsen privatif dans notre chambre mais celui qui est publique nous offre une très belle vue car il est situé juste sous les toits. Vraiment très belle expérience.
Le seul petit point un peu décevant concerne la vue de notre chambre. Elle donne bien sur la montagne, un immeuble obstrue un peu la vue. Cependant, le rooftop offre une vue magnifique, à tous moment de la journée.
