Great location and people, plus right next to a convenience store.

The staff members were super helpful with checking our luggage in early and forwarding it to the next hotel, as well as taking care of our laundry when we accidentally forgot it in the dryer. It was also right next door to a Lawson which was incredibly convenient. Not a far walk at all from Kyoto station. Easy to get around.

The bed was a little bit small, and the pillows weren't the most comfortable--and though I know everywhere in Kyoto is expensive, I don't feel that the price was very justified, even though the room itself was fine.
