  Close enough to walk into Hythe Town. I use a rollater/walker so it must be! . Buses run regularly 10/15 mins 102 103 104 they come from Lydd goes to Folkestone ends up.in Dover. Our host also gave a phone number of a local taxi firm too. Also a very good communicator which is rare and made us feel very comfortable and safe. The property is seconds away from the sea all on one level very important to us, and a very nice size for two people. Had one small step up to shower with a choice of 2 shower heads. All the electrical items easy to use, cooker, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave.The coffee machine and coffee pods supplied which we weren't familiar with, we used the Cafatteire which was also supplied. A washing machine could also be used we didnt but nice to know we could have. All very clean and fluffy covers supplied to protect furniture. Very dog friendly supplied dog bowls a dog bed which was the same we have at home! So Dolly was very happy (handy as we came by train) Even dog blankets. The loung is a lovely light room with the windows looking out onto the park/ playing field and fantastic views of Hythe the church nestled in the greenery so picturesque. This property did not make me feel hemmed in, the front you have the very large area of green space you walk through this to get into Hythe lovely walk going over the canal so.pretty. Out the back is the sea and beach .Great location. We have stayed in eleven other properties over the years but this one has the best 'balance' of supplying the basics and the little extras. Thank you for the gifts the last of our carnations are still going strong. The wine didn't last as long! The shower gel came in handy as I ran outI I realised when we were leaving after our lovely stay the roses In the lounge I had given fresh water to were not real!! 🤣

  We thought the front patio entrance which though small could have looked nicer with a few plants to brighten it? First impressions? S

  Good size apartment with kitchen, hallway, bathroom and living room. Great location, short walk to the beach.

  Bed wasn't to our liking, but that's a personal thing.

  A great stay

  Location was perfect. Close to see front & easy walk into Hythe High Street.

  We loved staying at "Southbeach" - I think, it's the neatest and cleanest holiday flat we ever had in Kent 👍😃 Kitchen and bathroom are new and well equipped, the sitting room sunny and spacious. The proximity to the beach is lovely and we spent every evening there. It's a place to feel at ease and we would like to come again if possible. 😊
