    A nice hotel, lovely grounds, directly on the water

    The room was a good size, and the bathroom was spacious, which is wonderful, as most Asian hotel bathrooms are very small. The two ladies at reception during the day are very sweet. I was very impressed especially with Jeng Narueporn. She was extremely helpful and really seemed to care deeply about the hotel. Everything in the room worked fine and that’s always great. I was here during the low / rainy season so the hotel was virtually empty; the beach was deserted, and most of the shops were closed. I personally enjoyed the solitude. Next to the deluxe swimming pool is a lovely sitting room, with breezeway and several shelves of books one can borrow. The reception calls this room the lounge; I dubbed it “the library.” It’s really a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the sound of the waves. There is a bar / restaurant, overlooking the ocean. All the rooms are set apart and have privacy, which lessens the noise from neighbors. 7/11 is an easy 7-8 minute walk.

    I really have no complaints.
