    Southfield Lodge a hidden gem, in the most perfect spot. Close to Hornsea beach and steps away from the high street. The apartment was spacious, homely and clean. A perfect spot for the 2 nights we spent there. Honestly I highly recommend the property not just because of its location but for it being a home away from home. Thank you.

    Happy Hornsea

    Sue was very welcoming, lovely place, garden is amazing, nice little touch with tea, coffee,hot chocolate, milk, biscuits and bagels with Jam and butter. It is right in centre, walking distance of eating and drinking establishments, shops and super market.

    Wonderful accommodation and host!

    lovely touch with the crumpets and home made jam, with coffee, tea, milk and sugar. Sue was wonderful, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble when slight amends had to be made. The property was immaculate and very well looked after.

    My only negative and am sure it states was the size of the beds, rather too snug for us when we are used to Kingsize. I think both rooms could accommodate a bed of this size without feeling cramped. It probably does say, so my issue for not reading. This would be the only reason we would not book again as everything else was beautifully clean, well presented and thought of.

    A house with history and character, a knowledgeable and helpful host, a fantastic location near the beach.

    Some pillows a little lumpy. Take an eye mask and ear plugs if you're sensitive to early morning light or seagulls.
