Disappointing but if your happy with bare minimum…
The layout was nice. I liked the bedrooms being away from the living space. The deck space was nice and the sliding glass doors. The proximity to the beach and shops.
The apartment is older. It looks modern but the walls are all scuffed up, the silicone in the entire apartment needs to be redone. It was gross. Mainly in the bathrooms and the kitchen. The bathrooms with the shower only were disgusting. Instead of tile the shower floor was wood. The mildew/mold smell was unbearable. We didn’t use one the bathrooms it was so bad. We booked the apartment for the use of the jacuzzi tub and indoor pool. The jacuzzi tub could barely fill up with hot water. The hot water heaters were not equipped for the volume of hot water needed. Once it was full the hot water was gone for the rest of the evening. Very inconvenient for 5 people. When we arrived the indoor pool and hot tub at the “spa” was cold. I have two small children and this was my entire reason for picking this property. The apartment has a dryer. It kept tripping the breaker when we tried to use it. The same breaker that the hot water heater was on unbeknownst to us. So again we woke up no hot water multiple mornings. The washing machine was very loud. The pocket door to the kitchen was broken so the washing machine going full blast made spending time in the living room impossible. The tv remote volume down button didn’t work. Also inconvenient. The beds were uncomfortable. The kitchen sink drain had a strong odor. The host was responsive and had the hot water heaters looked at during our stay but they are just the wrong type of capacity. Overall the host was quick to respond but these issues should have been taken care of before our stay.
