  Nicely located near the high street, park and castle

  The owners would benefit making some small changes. The taps and toilet were dripping and we are currently experiencing water shortages. The listing facilities mention air comditioning but there is none. Inside the flat at night it was 34 degrees and no fans were provided. There are some simple things that were missing which could make the flat better like there is non stick cookware provided but only metal utensils which means all the cookware is scratched and there are no tea towels

  A nice apartment

  Nice apartment conveniently located near the train station and high street. Clean and comfortable.

  No key for the back door. Also, everything was a money maker - early check in, late check out, holding bags on check out, damage waiver in lieu of deposit, making the whole experience impersonal.

  Very disappointed

  The property is in a good location which is at the centre of town and near the train station

  The overall standard of cleanliness within the property was poor. The bath was clogged with human hair, preventing the water from draining properly. The window shutters were heavily coated in dust, indicating they had not been cleaned for a considerable period. The garden was also poorly maintained, with excessive weeds and an untidy appearance. The temperature inside the property was extremely high, making the environment uncomfortable and, at times, unbearable. There were no fans provided in any of the bedrooms or the lounge, and there was no key available to unlock the back door leading to the garden, preventing adequate ventilation and access to fresh air. Given the exceptionally hot weather, I contacted the property management company to report the excessive heat and request that fans be provided. I was advised they would contact the landlord and arrange for fans to be supplied. However, despite making several follow-up attempts, I received no further response and no fans were provided. As a result, I had to purchase fans from a local store the following day to make the accommodation more tolerable. This additional expenses would not have been incurred had the property been adequately furnished or concerns addressed. Given the number and nature of these issues, I believe the property was not presented to an acceptable standard, and the lack of response from the property management company was disappointing. I therefore request that these matters be fully investigated and that appropriate compensation be considered for the inconvenience, additional expense, and reduced quality of my stay.

  Great location but plan your parking

  The location was great, minutes from the station, quiet road and good it had a small but accessible outdoor space.

  The parking is only free for certain hours, cleaning wasn’t great, evidence of previous guests and bathroom only a light clean. Main front door was difficult to open and no real sense of warmth in the decor, definitely managed by a company.
