    Easy, cheap, straightforward.

    Comms with the owners was fantastic. Couple of surprises during the stay, but all sorted out with the owners. If you're looking for a straightforward, cheap, sociable place to stay in the area then this is perfect.

    Could've been a couple more pillows on the beds, but the rest of the place was fine!

    Good location needs a good clean

    Location was good

    This place would be actually really good but in need of a good clean mirrors were bad dust everywhere kitchen sink really dirty. Microwave had food on it shoe rank in hall was really bad thick in dirt with dirty shoe covers. '*** Edit Reply the issues raised by Melanie on 23 September 2026 regarding the microwave and shoe rack these have still not been cleaned also the issues regarding the bathroom being closed off due to a leak we were informed of this on day of arrival but upon reading the reviews clearly this has been a ongoing issue for some time. Also your comment regarding the length of our stay this is irrelevant as the issues with the property come down to a lack of cleanliness!!

    Overall a good base for our trip but a few areas of attention needed.

    Comfortable, plenty of room and very clean.

    Some of the decor/fittings were a little tired and could do with repair. The bathroom was unavailable due to a leak which was notified on the day of check in, but this appeared to have happened some time ago. The en suite was available, but the door allowed you to lock it from the outside, which almost rendered access impossible! No mirror in en-suite. Tea and coffee provided but no milk, which seemed a bit odd. Hole I’m back gate felt a little disconcerting!
