    Disappointing

    The location was what made us book this property as it was close to the NEC. We had no qualms with neighbours or any noise. We managed to park on the street, close to the property. Close to shops and cafe etc.

    There was a smell of cooking/frying when we arrived which did concern us as it usually indicates the place hasn't been aired while cleaning etc. We also arrive late in the evening in October which meant it was very cold. The thermostat had no batteries so the heating hadn't come on, I contacted the hosts who said they would uber some batteries to us as they lived 20 minutes away, but we didn't want to wait up for an uber driver to arrive. The property was surface clean but there were a few details that could have been dealt with like broken fixings, dust in areas and batteries missing, as well as the heating not being on upon arrival.

    The property had smell when we walked in and the listing mentioned air conditioner and that was the reason i booked this expensive property but there was none. Very disappointing

    de exacte locatie was aanzienlijk verder bij de luchthaven en centraal station vandaan als dat Booking.com ons deed geloven. de luchthaven was ruim een uur lopen i.p.v. 10 minuten

    Lovely interior and was super clean. The hosts were great with communication. Very good access to the NEC via taxi (less than £8) and also via train which was just a 10 minute walk away.

    The property was quite cold in a morning, and due to street parking it could be difficult at times as it was a busy area, but this is out of the hosts control.
