    The location was good

    BLACK MOULD on the wall. Very humid. This was not disclosed and does not reflect the price. Once brought up to booking, they offered no solution other than staying in an apartment that was dangerous to our physical health. The host responded 8 hours after we told him about the mould and also offered no solution. Not even a full refund. Just 50 percent which I have not yet received.

    We enjoyed our stay and Joe was a great host who replied to our messages promptly.

    We liked that we had a bedroom each. And that we had a kitchen to cook some meals in. It was great to have a tv and some pedestal fans as it was quite warm at night. We did have an issue with the hot water at first but Joe’s communication was great and we figured it out.

    There was a lot of noise out in the courtyard at night which kept us awake some nights. The large bedroom/lounge room smelt distinctly of cigarette smoke. Just that room. It would have been nice to have some basic pantry staples such as oil for cooking, salt, pepper etc.
