  Good spacious base for your holiday

  Large rooms lovely beds and bedding Shower good clean bathrooms managed to park 2 cars at the rear of property no problem. Good location hilly as others have mentioned.

  Steps in the garden treacherous no handrail and no way of blocking off. Similarly was difficult to contain the dogs as no hall or kitchen door or stair gate so they kept running up two floors of stairs. Some of the kitchen utensils in the pot were covered in previous residents dried food as was one of the frying pans. We pride ourselves on leaving everything clean and tidy. Less is more and easier to do checks. 12 pans 30 plates and glasses for example. No scissors we found tricky as we cook whilst on holiday. Agree downstairs cloakroom is a must plenty of room for one.

  We had a lovely weekend stay and overall really enjoyed our visit. The location was great.

  We had a lovely weekend stay and overall really enjoyed our visit. The location was great, being only around a 10–15 minute walk into the town centre, which was very convenient. The house has some lovely finishing touches, particularly the decoration, which gave it a nice feel and made it a pleasant place to stay. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and felt the house had a lot of positives, with its good location, nice decoration and comfortable feel.

  There were, however, a few areas where we felt the property could benefit from a little more attention to detail. Some areas could have been cleaner. Previous guests also left some recycling. We noticed a few general maintenance issues around the house too. None of these things spoiled our stay, but a little more care and attention between guests, particularly around cleaning and general maintenance, would make a noticeable difference and help bring the property up to a higher standard.

  Lovely big house in a good (although hilly😂) location to explore the area

  The house is huge, suited our family holiday well with lots of space for everyone. One small niggle was reported and sorted quickly, owner was very responsive of all messages and the stay went smoothly and would definitely recommend to friends

  Nothing not to like!

  Great 3-Night Stay!

  Great size rooms and garden. Host was very prompt in the lead up, answering questions/requests. Comfy beds, sofas and amazing showers!

  Only small things which are to our personal preferences... We stayed during the heatwave last week so would've been great if the rooms had fans. Also, would've been a nice addition if there was a downstairs toilet.
