  Very impressive apartment and location is just brilliant!

  Location was absolutely fantastic, right next door to MacDonalds, the ferry (and small boats) to Valletta is on the other side of the road, so many local shops and restaurants just outside the front door. Could not fault the location at all. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious, lots of available kit. There is also a washing machine and a line for hanging washing on the balcony outside the main bedroom. The view from the front is amazing, watching the word go by and the ships pulling in and out was great. Sitting on the balcony at night was a nice way to end the day. Especially if there was a lightning storm (which we had a couple during our stay). Communication with the agents was rapid and they would contact through Whatsapp.

  Would have been wonderful to have had an additional set of keys. We had to always plan when family members were coming back as we would sometimes leave/come back at different times. I appreciate that the door leading to the main bedroom balcony is reasonably secure but you should still have a lock on that back door just to be safe. I found the rubbish/recycling very confusing, I would like the agents to make this clearer. Was I meant to bag this up in a certain way and just leave it out the front of the building at a certain time? There was a guide on what day for what but as to where to put it wasn't clear. Would have really liked access to some English speaking channels like BBC1/ITV.

  Location view basics AC Kitchen bathroom etc good

  Small things 1.Hate no door on main Bed room bathroom. 2.Lack of decent curtains blinds in lounge cause it to heat up during day will cost fortune in AC.& lack privacy esp nocte.

  I would be reluctant to use Booking.com again.

  Location was great - very central. The apartment was self catering with hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee machine and all the necessary equipment. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning was effective.

  The major issue for us was the fact that both the front balcony and rear balcony doors did not lock - the back door didn't even have a handle to close it. We had cockroaches in that bedroom, which had entered through the open door. We contacted both the property owner and Booking.com and was treated very unsatisfactorily. Over five phone calls (over two hours' spent), I was cut off four times. We had to lock that bedroom door (from the apartment hallway) to secure our belongings and had to share a bedroom. Totally not what we paid for. The front balcony door was also unlockable, leaving us and the apartment vulnerable. The photos on the listing were taken some time ago - since then, there are missing patches of paint off the walls, the lounge rug is desperately in need of a clean; the balcony was unusable as the heat from the aircon blasted out onto the balcony, the balcony chair cushions were filthy, as was the floor and the artificial grass was a trip hazard as it wasn't fixed to the floor, the whole balcony hadn't been cleaned in some time. The sofa in the lounge had collapsed arms. I am still waiting for Booking.com resolutions to recompense us. The property owner offered for us to move out and refund the unused nights. Booking.com offered us to move to another 2-bed apartment or a 3-bed at a much increased cost.
