    Incredible location and beautiful house with space for everyone

    The location was amazing - very peaceful and picturesque. The house was well presented and provided lots of space and adventures for the kids - especially with the pool. Both members of staff we met were lovely and very helpful.

    There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property but next time we visit we will make sure we have our coffee and breakfast things with us for the morning as it was more of a drive to the shops than we had anticipated.

    Highly recommend this hidden gem 🥰

    My extended family & I absolutely loved our stay at Spearmint House. It exceeded all our expectations! It was beautifully presented inside & out and so spacious. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor space with the swimming pool & games room. ( OMG! that Games Room!! 😍) The location is perfect, too! Completely relaxing, totally surrounded by nature, nothing but birds singing and the quiet sound of the river running down below. And yet it also has the convenience of only being 15 minutes to town if you need supplies or feel like dining out. Thank you to the lovely Caretakers who made check-in and out, so easy. We are already talking & planning the next time we can get the family back together at Spearmint House. Only next time we hope to stay longer. 2 days is just not long enough!! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing little mountain gem with us 🙏

    The ultimate place to relax and reconnect surrounded by nature. Beautifully curated furnishings and decor, and soft touches like the properties own grown fruit, and chicken eggs, waiting on arrival. The hosts were friendly and helpful, including taking me to the private waterfall and swimming hole on the property! Truly special and I already am looking forward to returning.
