A lovely family weekend in a comfortable, well located property.
Comfortable bedrooms, spacious layout and nice hot tub. All loved the pool room. Great location close to Blackpool tower and pleasure beach. Nice lighting -once we figured it out. Conservatory a lovely airy spacious room and a quirky sitting room which we liked.
Slight lack of crockery to cater for 7 people. We were a bit short on bowls to serve food in and to eat from. We dished up straight from pans and jugs. No tin opener. One pan didn’t work on hob. A bit cold when we arrived but heated up quickly once heating was put on and was fine for the rest of our stay.

Mostly great apart from some of the flaws we have pointed out and the leak. It’s a great house.
Very spacious and clean. Beautifully presented. Good location. Lots of wardrobe and cupboard space. Loved the innovative lighting. Good gardens.
There was a leak overnight in the pool room which took all our morning, trying to get help and contain the leak. The plumber could not find the cause but it inconvenienced us greatly. We asked for a refund of some kind or compensation but have heard nothing. The floor tiles in our bathroom were cracked. The woodwork on the patio doors was rotten. The cover of the hot tub was seriously frayed. For 2 days we had no tea towels or oven mitts or large brush. The coffee machine was broken. No air con in the bedrooms which is a serious oversight in a house of this calibre.

Amazing House
We had an amazing 2 days at Spengarth House. Can't recommend it enough. Great value for money and would 100% stay there again.

Big , bright and very convenient
There are quite a few cobwebs. There was no control in order to open the windows in the conservatory or to use the fans.
