    Old farm charm with a lot of comfort. Amazing experience!

    I loved the farm atmosphere and the big grassy space with lots of shade outside. It was very calm and relaxing. At night, the stars were so bright in the sky, I couldn't stop staring at it. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort inside my room. The bed was very comfortable and the white crisp linen added a luxurious touch. The private bathroom was clean with its own charm. The outside of the building was kept in the original state with louvers in front of the door and old time shutters on the inside of the sliding window, that can be opened or closed.The wooden floors brought back so many childhood memories. I loved the sound of the roosters and hens, as well as the many birds around. The geese and ducks rounded off this amazing farm experience. I just love the quacking sounds they make. We also had some Egyptian geese visiting in the morning. Lindy is a fantastic host and she interacted with such warmth and friendliness. Breakfast was great and very filling. I enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice and organic eggs. I will definitely stay longer the next time I pass through Hopefield.

    I cannot think of anything I didn't like. I chose the perfect place for my stay over.

    We chose not to stay due to the booking issue and confusion on arrival.

    The host was considerate and made an effort to accommodate us with our booking. Although it wasn’t suitable in the end.

    We booked about a week in advance, but when we arrived at the property, we were told it had been double-booked and that other guests were already there. One of the hosts then incorrectly claimed that we had arrived a day early, which was quite frustrating and confusing. As a result, we decided to cancel the booking completely and look for accommodation elsewhere, which was very disappointing and not up to our expectations.
