I feel the best part was the location/City. Brienz has great connectivity to Interlaken and it feels like true Swiss city. Highly recommended to choose Brienz over Interlaken. Coming to property, it's hardly 5 mins walk from the train station. Do not take the Google map way, specifically check the directions from hosts and they'll guide you. Got very clear instructions with videos on how to check-in, how to use AC, where to park in case you have a vehicle. Stay was clean and comfortable. Kitchen has every single thing you need to cook a meal. Oven, electric stove, cutlery, cups, glasses, spoons , etc. Again, City is calm, most shops shut at 7 and gets lonely after 8 but in no way unsafe.

Great stay in Brienz
I would actually give it a 9.5 rating/review. Thank you for the Champagne and chocolates upon arrival. Location was excellent and quiet street. Apartment was well equipped with nearly everything you need and the local supermarket was close by, only 5 minutes walk. Very clean and tidy and not cluttered with things. It was spacious for two people, but it would be very squashy if there were more. Train station also was close enough to walk to. I would definitely stay here again.
For us we thought the stairs were too steep, but it was our choice. We thought there needed to be a dish rack to put the dishes on after washing up. Maybe another tea towel as it was more than 3 nights stay. And another container to store food in. There are enough coat hangers for your coats etc and a rack to put your boots etc, but not enough storage to actually unpack your clothes if you have a longer stay like us. Even though the champagne was a nice gesture we actually don't drink, so it was wasted on us, but to improve this you could ask people what they would like. For us, the pillows were uncomfortable and lumpy, but that is our opinion. All the little things matter as it can go from a great stay to an outstanding/fabulous stay.
